BEAUMES
A traditional Haussmann apartment turned on its head, then brought beautifully back to life.
This was a classic Haussmann apartment, with the kitchen tucked in back and the living rooms facing the street. It needed updated systems and plenty of pretty to bring it back to life. We flipped the layout, moving the kitchen to the front for more light and space while making room for a second bathroom. Custom cabinetry turned it into the heart of the home and made it feel as though it had always been there. Antiques, modern pieces, mirrors, chandeliers and cheeky accents took care of the rest.
“We owe a lot to this apartment (and in particular the pink chairs!), because this was our first complete renovation in Paris and really the whole launch of our business. When this apartment was first published and the pink chairs were picked up on Pinterest, the emails started rolling in for more Paris renovations! I think they loved the whole kitchen too, but it was the pink chairs that were the draw!”
