The Armagnac apartment offered a front-row seat to Paris, from every room. That gave us plenty to work with - and a few challenges too.
With a drop dead view of the Eiffel tower, the Armagnac apartment presented a wonderful layout challenge that we managed to overcome by wrapping the entire apartment around a small core that maximized the bathroom space while increasing the flow of the living spaces. The piece de resistance is that every room has a knock out view!
“Our biggest challenge was how to make a small apartment live big and make the most of the view. We did it by respecting the existing architectural elements,playing with some of the "old building" constraints and keeping things clean and focused on function - so that we maximized the space and created a pretty place from within to appreciate the grand, iconic and outsized view.
